Archived News Premier Auto Trade opens new Brisbane Distribution Centre
The Queensland premises offer over 400 sq metres of office and warehouse facilities and are located just off the Pacific Motorway, in the heart of the automotive area of Underwood. It is located conveniently between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, just 20km south of Brisbane city. “Following the recent opening of our Sydney warehouse we are pleased to now announce the new Queensland facility” said Jim Cots, director Premier Auto Trade. “We are focussed on our resellers and our new Brisbane distribution centre is the next step in allowing us to deliver leading service to the Queensland market. We wanted to be able to offer our Queensland based resellers in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba regions same day access to our more than 6000 stock product lines” said Cots, “while also improving our service levels to northern Queensland and the Northern Territory”. Premier Auto Trade is still servicing its reseller base through its Melbourne-based call centre; however the new Brisbane warehouse allows same day product dispatch and collection. The call centre is manned 8am to 6.00pm AEDT five days a week via a new 1300 telephone service, to allow resellers throughout the country to contact the call centre for the cost of a local call. Resellers can now call Premier Auto Trade on 1300 4 PAT SALES (1300 472 872) “We have built our reputation on outstanding service and this new distribution centre will allow us to offer an even better level of logistic support for our Queensland based resellers” said Jim. The new Queensland Distribution Centre will be opening 1st March 2011 and is located at Unit 2 / 10 Lapis St Underwood Queensland.
